Jeanne Dalton Justice, PhD, G'89 - Secretary

Managing Director, Applied Business Research, LLC

My professional history includes a broad mix of business experience and scholarship, combining a 30+ year background in business development, management, and consulting with advanced degrees in business and psychology. A serial entrepreneur, personal business projects have included the founding and management of a regional US behavioral health care organization; small resort property development and management in the eastern Caribbean, and development of a hydroponic agriculture business in the British Virgin Islands. My consultant work has concentrated on the areas of strategic planning, risk analysis/management, and organization change initiatives. Recent research and operations interest is focused on knowledge transfer in isolated, culturally diverse communities.

As a late ‘80’s student in the Penn graduate program in Organization Dynamics, I added the concepts learning organizations and stakeholders to a prior grounding in interdependent social systems. And was encouraged to risk that an organization doing the right thing was also the smart thing - and could thrive. I’m excited to join in this opportunity to search out and highlight global businesses that are implementing these practices.
